With the exception of an emergency, all students who come to the office for an illness must have a pass from the class they are missing. Students are not allowed to come in during the passing period.  Each student is asked to sign in and then will see the nurse or health aide. The student will be assessed to determine appropriate action to be taken. In order for a student to be released to go home, the Nurses' Office staff must speak with a parent/guardian or an emergency contact who has been designated by the parent.

Student Release Procedure: East Campus
A parent/guardian/emergency contact must sign the student out at the security desk. 

Student Release Procedure: West Campus
A parent/guardian/emergency contact may sign the student out at the security desk. 

A parent/guardian/emergency contact must give verbal consent for the student to drive/walk home at the discretion of the Nurse.
