AP Exam Registration
-
Lake Park High School 2024-2025 school year-
The following contains important information regarding registration and preparation for AP exams, important dates and deadlines for AP students this year. Students taking an AP course are encouraged but not required to take the corresponding AP exam in May 2025. Parents/Guardians can review HAC to confirm your student’s enrolled courses.
Joining AP Classroom and Registering for AP Exams
Students are required to join AP Classroom for each of their AP courses before August 30, 2024. This provides the student with access to resources shared by the College Board and their instructor for their AP course(s) as well as pre-registration information for the AP exam. Students will receive the code to join AP Classroom from their AP teacher during the first two weeks of school.
When joining the course, students will be asked to declare their intent to take or not take the AP exam for that course. Students may update their exam plans until October 4, 2024 for no additional fee. After this date, changes to exam orders will be accompanied by a $40 late fee.
Any student who wishes to take an AP exam for a course they are studying independently may do so for the same cost as an enrolled course. To register for the exam only, please contact Mrs. Sheila Finstein at (630) 295-5321 or sfinstein@lphs.org for a special Exam-only Join Code.
Please note: AP Classroom is different from Google Classroom, and it is not connected to HAC/eSchool. The degree to which AP teachers utilize AP Classroom is individually managed, though all students enrolled in an AP Course must join the related AP Classroom for that course and indicate their exam plan.
