GSA's purpose is to create a safe, supportive environment where all students, including LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning) teenagers and allies, can meet new people, hang out, and have fun.  The club organizes events, outings, guest speakers, and other activities based upon the interests of the group members and student leaders.  Furthermore, GSA encourages dialogue concerning the needs of the LGBTQ+ and the Ally student population while offering support and a safe outlet for students.
