President’s Award for Educational Excellence

  • This year, 78 students from the Class of 2022 will be honored with the President’s Award for Educational Excellence which is part of the President's Education Awards Program (PEAP) that was founded in 1983.

    Per the program's website, the President's Education Awards Program (PEAP) honors graduating elementary, middle, and high school students for their achievement and hard work. The program has provided individual recognition from the President and the U.S. Secretary of Education to those students whose outstanding efforts have enabled them to meet challenging standards of excellence.

    The President’s Award for Educational Excellence recognizes academic success in the classroom and Lancers that met the following eligibility requirements are receiving this prestigious award: 4.5+ weighted GPA with an SAT math and/or Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Score of 655 or higher.
