Freshman Family BBQ

  • Class of 2027 Families:

Please make plans to join us at East Campus for the Freshman Family BBQ on Thursday, August 10 starting at 6:00 p.m. Come enjoy food followed by a spirit rally at 7:00 p.m. to kick off the 2023-24 school year! The spirit rally will be followed by an Athletics fair from 7:30 to  8:30 p.m. where students and families can meet our coaches and sponsors and learn how to get involved in extracurricular programs.

Incoming Parent Orientation Program

  • Lake Park High School's Incoming Parent Orientation Program will take place on the evening of Wednesday, April 26. The program, intended for parents/guardians only, begins in the East Campus Dice Auditorium at 6:15 p.m. and will conclude at 8:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. This event is an opportunity to learn information about the excellent resources that are available to our Lancer families and students.

In the opening presentation, you will hear from your Counseling Team about important information regarding planning toward graduation. After the opening presentation, you will have the opportunity to select four different breakout sessions. The purpose of this format allows parents/guardians to explore the most important topics and have questions answered by school leaders, counselors, faculty, and students.

The Lake Park tradition is revitalized with each incoming class and is committed to ensuring students' transition to high school is smooth and productive.

Athletic & Activities Night

  • An Athletic & Activities Orientation Night for incoming families will be held on Wednesday, April 5 at East Campus. After a brief introduction and spirit rally in the gymnasium, families can then attend up to three breakout sessions throughout the building. Be sure to visit the Activities Fair in the student cafeteria or stop by the Athletic Program information tables located in the main hallways to meet the sponsors and coaches and learn more about all the great programs Lake Park has to offer!

The orientation event is designed to benefit students and parents/guardians by learning about Lake Park's athletics & activities programs in advance of the next school year. Attendees can have their questions answered by coaches, sponsors, and students currently in the program. This provides Class of 2027 students with time to consider their choices prior to the beginning of the 2023-24 school year.
