           Presented by the Glenbard Parent Series and hosted at Glenbard North H.S. The presentation will             only be presented in Spanish Language.

      A representative(s) from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will be providing an overview of both the college application and financial aid processes. This presentation will be in Spanish Language only and the presentation in English Language will be on Thursday September 19 at 7:00PM in the West Campus Auditorium.

     This informational evening will include a presentation from Mr. Joe Ziemba, Lake Park's College and Career Counselor, and the second part will feature a presentation from Ms. Jennifer Prusko, Financial Aid Representative in the College of DuPage's Office of Student Financial Assistance.

          Preparing the Path for High School and College Success: the College Application Process (Spanish Language Only)

             Presented by the Glenbard Parent Series and hosted at Glenbard West H.S. The presentation will                only be presented in Spanish Language.

     

    • Tuesday, October 29th,  7:00 - 8:30PM College Application Completion Workshop

      Location - Lake Park's West Campus Computer Lab, Room 231

      Spanish Language assistance has been requested for this workshop

     

    • Thursday, November 14th, 10:00AM - 1:24PM - College of DuPage Application Completion Workshop

            Location - West Campus Counseling Office    

    It is recommended that students attending the workshop bring as much of the following information as possible to assist with completing the application (as applicable):

    • A personal email address (separate from a student's Lake Park provided email address)
    • Social Security Number, please note if a student does not have a Social Security Number an alternative identification number can be created during the workshop and used to complete the application
    • A credit card to pay the $20 application fee, eligible students can also request a fee waiver at the workshop
    • An established Parchment account so that students can submit a transcript request for College of DuPage, instructions for creating a Parchment account can be accessed via this link
    • ACT and/or SAT score information, College of DuPage does not require ACT or SAT test scores for admission but certain scores can be used to exempt a student from the reading/writing placement tests at College of DuPage
