Important Information

Transportation
We suggest that students ride the bus to become familiar with our transportation routes. Details regarding bus routes were sent in the mail. Please remind your student to arrive at the bus stop at least five minutes prior to the scheduled time. Students who are not able to attend orientation will receive their materials on the first day of school.

Additional Details
During textbook distribution, all registered students will receive their class schedule, textbooks, directions to download their digital ID (physical IDs will be issued within the first weeks of school), and other materials such as a pre-paid yearbook. If families have not yet registered for school, class schedules and materials will not be available until the first day of school.  Students will have their permanent ID/yearbook photos taken during textbook distribution. They will also have an opportunity to take the picture on Wednesday, August 13, during lunch, a study hall period, or the option is also available before or after school.

Welcome to West: Juniors & Seniors

Welcome to West event will be held on Wednesday, August 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Lake Park High School West Campus.

Students will pick up their schedule, take their yearbook picture, get their parking pass, turn in their physicals, and walk their class schedule (optional guided tours will be available).

In addition to these items, starting at 10:00 a.m., seniors will be allowed to paint their parking spots during this time, and juniors will be able to paint the front windows.  We will also have music, food trucks, and games, making this more of a celebratory back-to-school event!
Textbooks will be distributed once school starts, arranged by the classroom teacher.

Bus services will be provided for this event for those who take the bus during the school year; pick-up and drop-off times and locations will be sent to families in advance.

Juniors and Seniors who are unable to attend on August 6, or who just want to walk their schedules one more time, can visit West Campus on Monday, August 11, from 4:00 p.m. to  6:00 p.m. where they can get their schedules, parking pass, and walk their class schedule. Make-up yearbook pictures will take place in the main lobby from 6:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on the first day of school on Wednesday, August 13, before or after school or during a lunch/study hall. Any other items will need to wait until the first day of school.

Please note that on Monday, August 11, and Tuesday, August 12, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the building will not be open for students to walk their schedules due to District Institute Days where teachers will be preparing for the first day of school.
