Volunteer Information

Lake Park High School District 108 recognizes the tremendous positive impact volunteers have on our students and educational programs. We greatly appreciate your willingness to share your time, talents, and energy with the Lake Park community.

To help ensure a safe environment for all students, individuals interested in volunteering with or around Lake Park students must complete the District's volunteer onboarding process and any required background screening associated with the volunteer position.

If you are interested in volunteering, please first contact the staff member responsible for the activity, athletic program, or curricular area in which you would like to serve. Contact information for these individuals is provided below. Once you have received approval to apply for a volunteer position, please complete the District's online volunteer application. We encourage all prospective volunteers to review the Lake Park Volunteer Process Summary for an overview of our onboarding process. If fingerprinting is required for your volunteer role, please also review the Lake Park High School Volunteer Fingerprinting Guide for detailed instructions regarding scheduling, required documentation, and appointment procedures. All background screening results will be maintained confidentially by the Human Resources Department.

Please note that volunteers may not begin any volunteer activities until they have received written authorization from a District administrator or program coordinator.

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer. Please allow up to three weeks for processing, as volunteer applications require background checks and, in some cases, fingerprinting. If you have been approved as a Lake Park volunteer within the past five years, you do not need to submit a new application. We appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this process.
