  • Dear Lancer Families:

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, Lake Park High School remains committed to supporting the safety, mental health, and continuity of learning for our Lancer families. In an effort to streamline these resources, Lake Park has created a dedicated website available at www.lphs.org/COVID19. You are encouraged to visit this site regularly; new resources and information will be added as it becomes available. The site is currently divided by the following important areas of service:

Communications - Critical updates to families will continue to be sent via email, but will also be reflected on this new site. For your convenience, all communication will be archived for easy reference.

Online Learning - While our students may be familiar with Chromebooks, Google Classroom and Khan Academy, Lake Park recognizes that our parents/guardians could use more information. Click on the Technology Support tab to find out how Lake Park is able to support you and your student’s learning from home.

Mental Health - Guidance for students and parents who may be dealing with stress and anxiety during this difficult time is available nationally from the CDC and locally by our Student Services Department. Our Social Workers and Psychologists (SWaP) remain available to our Lancers via email. Check out these resources to learn more!

Counseling - Updates regarding scholarships, standardized tests, and college applications will continue to be posted to this site. Lake Park’s counselors remain available to help with these academic needs.

If you still have questions or concerns, I encourage you to call (630) 529-3003. This central line provides families with an opportunity to leave a detailed message. Your questions or concerns will be shared with an administrator to ensure you receive a prompt response during the school closure.

Lake Park appreciates the opportunity to build upon these resources and supports available via this dedicated website. It is our honor to serve such a great community; we are in this together!

    With Lancer Pride,

    Lynn Panega, Ed.D.
    Superintendent
