  • Dear Lancer Families:

As Lake Park High School concludes the first official week of Remote Learning, I am writing to express my gratitude as you juggle the competing demands of work, family, personal well-being, and most recently online education. Parents and guardians have suddenly been thrust into the role of educator due to the mandated closure of all Illinois schools through Thursday, April 30.

Now more than ever, it is critically important for the District to understand what is working, what is not, and how we can improve the experience for all of our Lancers.

Please take a few minutes to share your feedback by completing this Remote Learning Survey by Friday, April 17. Students and staff members are receiving similar surveys to gauge valuable input that will help drive decisions to update the Remote Learning Plan to meet the needs of our students, families, and faculty.

I encourage you to visit www.lphs.org/covid19 frequently to view prior communication and the most up-to-date information related to Advanced Placement (AP) exams, social-emotional resources and more.

We greatly appreciate the patience and partnership of our families as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.

    In This Together,

    Lynn Panega, Ed.D.
    Superintendent
