LancerTek Summer STEM Camp Available for Middle School Students

LancerTek Summer STEM Academy
This four-day hands-on program introduces male and female middle-school students (grades 6-8) to the fundamentals of engineering and precision machining. Students will use Autodesk Inventor software to create a personalized design for a wood end-table and report card magnet. Along the way, students will learn basic programming that will allow them to set-up a computer numerical control (CNC) ShopBot and CNC Mill. A one-day field trip to a local manufacturing facility to see manufacturing first hand is also a feature of this summer experience.

Camp will start at East Campus, Monday and Tuesday, and transition to West Campus, Wednesday and Thursday.
