"Miracle" is the story of the 1980 United States men's Olympic Hockey team who competed for the gold medal in the Lake Placid Winter Olympics. Coach Herb Brooks had to build a team of college players to compete with some of the best amateur teams in the world such as the team from the Soviet Union. With the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union still raging, the US team had to face the political challenges of the Cold War as well the competition on the ice.
For extra credit, students will have the opportunity to answer one of two questions.
