Alumni Spotlight

  • Each month Lancer students will learn about a variety of career options from our very own Lake Park alumni through brief video interviews produced by our in-house LPTV program. We are excited for this monthly career exploration that connects students to Lancers for Life!

  • 21

  • This month we shine the spotlight on Angela Rose from the Lake Park class of 1996. In 2001 Angela founded the non-profit organization, Promoting Awareness/ Victim Empowerment (PAVE). The mission of Pave is to create education and action surrounding the issues of sexual violence.

Angela is a frequent contributor with the national media including CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and Good Morning America. She has presented all over the country to conferences, military bases, high schools and colleges. Angela was invited to speak at the United States of Women Summit hosted by then-Vice President Biden.

Angela's advice to students is to "follow your passion".
Angela received the LPEF Distinguished Alumni Award in April 2019.

Angela is also highlighted in our monthly Lake Park Alumni Spotlight video.
