CONGRATULATIONS:
 
"Congratulations to Kayla Goodwin, Jessica Lewis, and Sofia Tobon for placing 2nd, 4th, and 5th, on floor at last night's regional gymnastics meet.  Jessica Lewis also placed 4th in the All-Around"
 
Student Council would like to thank everyone for the great success of the book drive; we raised over 3000 books for BOOKS FOR CAUSE . The second period class who came in third place, collecting 303 books was Ms, Shirley! Followed closely by Mr. Ivory’s class collecting 317 books to put them in 2n place. The winner was Mrs. Baughers 2 nd period collecting 334 books for the good cause. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all that participated to help make this a success! Our grand total was 3169 books!

Parking at east campus is prohibited.  Violators will receive consequences from the student service office.

You may have missed the first night of " Carousel" but don't worry you still have 3 more chances to catch a ride.  The Lake Park Winter Musical will bring the magic to you again tonight and tomorrow night at 7:30.  Sunday you can also escape the craziness of Super Bowl Sunday preparations and still be home in time for the game because the show is a matinee starting at 2pm.If you haven't experienced musical theatre at Lake Park - don't wait any longer - this is a show to remember!  As always Lake Park students and staff are free!  See you at the show!
Tickets for turnabout dance are not selling to fast –so get you tickets by today or dance may have to be cancelled.  So make your plans and buy your tickets by end of day today!
Earth Club is collecting jeans to help homeless teens.  For every pair of jeans you donate, you will earn a 25% off coupon to Aeropostale!  Start cleaning out your closet and bring your jeans to the main office.  We will be collecting starting today through Friday, February 10.  Please help Earth Club make a difference in the lives of homeless teens!

Attention girls soccer :  For all those that are not out for a fall sport, the next after school pre-season workout will be on Monday, Feb. 6th  at 3:!5 at east campus.

Attention any students taking the AMC Math Contest on Tuesday, Feb 7 th. Please report to the large group Room 228 by 7:50 am. We will start the test promptly when 1 st period begins. You will need a #2 pencil for the test.
 
Trivia Night – Come enjoy a night full of challenging trivia that ranges from History to pop culture! LPHS – West Campus/ Student Cafeteria . February 8. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. Round 1 6:00 p.m. Admission : Jeans for Teens. Teams: Consist of 2 -8 students/adults. Prizes for the Winning Team! Please RSVP to Pam Moshure by Monday Feb. 6 th.
 
Cha Cha for Children Dance Marathon registration is here!  Get ready for six hours of fun, food, and dancing!  Please see Mrs. Roll at East Campus or Ms. Gillies at West Campus to pick up your packet!  Our next planning committee meeting is Thursday, February 9, after school at East Campus in room 255!
 
 
Attention all boys interested in joining the gymnastics team.  The first day of practice is Monday, February 13 th at East Campus.  No experience is necessary. Stop by the counseling office to pick up the paperwork to register.  If you have any questions, see Coach Matune in room #198. Become part of the Tradition!
