Drama
The Drama Department produces many plays
and musicals throughout the school year and participates in the annual IHSA

Quill and
Scroll is an international honor society for high school journalists.
Thespians
The Lake Park chapter of the International
Thespian Society is an honorary society for students in the theatre
arts. Students are accepted into the society based on their involvement on
and/or backstage in Lake Park theatre productions. The Thespians meet throughout
the year to support the Lake Park theatre program, attend professional
theatrical productions, produce the Lake Park one-act play festival, and
administer the Hazel Turner Theatre Scholarship.
