Dual Credit
Lake Park High School is joining with the College of DuPage to provide enhanced educational opportunities for Lake Park students.
Dual Credit provides Lake Park students with the opportunity to enroll in selected courses for which they will receive both college credit and high school credit, earning students a head start toward their college degree.
Presently, two Business Education course, Keyboarding and Computer Applications, are offered for dual credit. College of DuPage credit is granted after the student successfully completes the class. Students will not only have a high school transcript with the credits obtained, but will also have an active college transcript created with the dual credits obtained. Students then may transfer these credits to another college or university of their choice.
